Sally McArthur & husband Steven Jones are the proud owners of Dunedin Freedom Drivers.
Sally was born and bred in Dunedin, having lived in several suburbs over the years, as well as having family who lived and operated a business in North East Valley. Her father’s family immigrated to NZ from Scotland when he was a child, so like many Dunediners, Sally has Scottish roots. She has an adult daughter, a gorgeous 2 year-old grandson, while Steven partner has four daughters.
Previously Sally has worked in the public service with 15 years at ACC in various roles, from claims management, to team leader with 14 staff, and then claims manager in the accidental death unit. In the UK Sally was a Senior Administrator for the Care Quality Commission which regulates Health and Social Care Services monitoring all care homes, mental health services, and other health services to ensure regulatory standards are maintained. Further, she spent 3 years at the Department of Work and Pensions as a Personal Advisor, assisting unemployed customers to return to the work force.
This background in public service as well as Sally’s kind and friendly personality make her perfect as a Freedom Driver franchisee!
