Hi. My name is Kate Wood and I am delighted to be the owner of Freedom Driving Eastern Bays.

I grew up in St Heliers and for the last 20 plus years have been living in Glendowie with my husband and 2 now adult children.

My interests include walking my 2 dogs, bush walking, tennis and I am learning to play golf. For the past 27 years I have been in the insurance industry in a variety of roles. For some time now I have been wanting a change of direction into an area that will help my community.

When the opportunity to join the Freedom Companion Driving family presented itself I was excited to be able to become part of it.

I’ve really love getting to know my clients and enjoy their company on our trips.

I offer a friendly and reliable companion driving service for people of any age that need that extra care.  It might be a trip to the supermarket, or an appointment, or out to lunch with friends.  I’m happy to help with all your needs.
