Hello, my name is Priya and I am the proud owner of Freedom companion driving in Rolleston. I have lived in New Zealand since 2001 and have worked in the hospitality and early Childhood sector. I’m also a Florist and love baking and trying out new recipes. Presently I am learning to grow fruit and vegetables in my home garden.
My husband and I look after my elderly father-in-law with a disability. This has led me to an understanding of the various challenges faced by elderly and people with disabilities, especially when it comes to transporting them. This also gave rise to a desire to be able to help such people in the community, leading me to become a part of this wonderful Franchise. I am delighted to be able to contribute to the happiness and well-being of the elderly and people with disability on a day-to-day basis with my work.
If you or someone in your family is unable to drive due to age or health reasons, I offer a safe, friendly and personalised driving assistance which include:
– Accessible vehicle Medical Appointments with provision of waiting with the client if required.
– Shopping – groceries and help in putting them away.
– Transport for meetings, coffee mornings, catching up with friends and family.
– Transport to Church and back.
– Airport Drop Off.
– Out of town trips.
– ACC clients.
– School pick-ups and drop offs, including children with special needs.
– Transport for after school activities.

Freedom has been a godsend to me. Trapped without transport and a work site not covered by public transport, I was in a quandary about how to get to work. Then I saw an ad for Freedom. Problem solved. My driver picks me up at Silverdale and takes me to work then returns me home. He is always punctual and the vehicle is always immaculately clean. Awesome! Thank you Freedom!

Freedom Drivers Hibiscus Coast came to my rescue 18 months ago when I commenced my monthly trips to Waitakere Hospital Day Stay.
